Registration opens May 1st for Non-Members

We are happy to announce the return of the 4-day Junior Golf Day Program to be held at Washington Golf Club. This is one the most popular and fun events we have at the Club! Our goal here at the golf section is to make golf both fun and competitive. This year’s day program will focus on golf course etiquette, golf rules, and, most importantly, how to play golf. The skills our golfers will develop will not only help them on the course, but off the course as well. Our Junior Golf Day Program include fitness elements that help cultivate better hand eye coordination and athletic skill. 

Everyday participants will meet at the clubhouse before 9:00 a.m. Once the golfers have arrived they will be broken up into groups to work on driving, irons, chipping, and putting. Each station will have personal instruction and competitive, fun games. This usually will last until children break for lunch at 12:00 PM. During lunch, golfers will relax and go over the rules and etiquette of golf. After the hour break, we will spend the last two hours of each day either on the golf course playing or on specialty shots and situations that golfers encounter while playing.

The Junior Golf Day Program is open to all members and non-member children ages 7-17. The non-member fee is $375/week.  We do ask that all golfers bring their own lunch and dress appropriately. We can provide golf clubs for children who do not have them for a fee of $10. Parents are responsible for transportation.



PLEASE NOTE:

  • After June 1st, 2024, cancellations made more than two weeks prior to the date of the Junior Golf Clinic/Program will receive an 80% refund.
  • Cancellations made between one to two weeks prior to the date of the Junior Golf Clinic/Program will receive a 50% refund.
  • Any cancellation made within the week prior to the first day of the Junior Golf Clinic/Program for which your child is registered will receive no refund.
