Tennis at Washington Club

Situated in the heart of Washington, CT, the Washington Club tennis facilities offer 4 hard courts and 4 Har-tru courts.

We are one of the few facilities to have both soft and hard surfaces. The Club’s extensive junior and adult tennis programs provide excellent instruction, challenging competition, and engaging social events for players of all levels. The Tennis Club House serves as a gathering place where members can check out upcoming activities, get a racquet restrung, or take in match play on the courts below.

At our tennis facilities, a long relationship has been fostered between the Washington Club and The Frederick Gunn School. These facilities have been shared in one form or another for many years and continues to this day. Tennis members enjoy use of the tennis facilities from early June through Labor Day at the start of September. The Washington Club tennis courts are available into the fall. Tennis courts will be available to Washington Club tennis members every Saturday and Sunday in the months of September and October.

The 8 tennis courts are available from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. 4 courts have lighting available with this option offered for no additional charge.
